The Portfolio Manager and Watchlist are configured with default settings for every user. While these default settings are sufficient for some users, people have different trading styles who will prefer to reconfigure their configurations.

The screenshot below is an example of a typical portfolio. You can see that underneath the "Symbol" header, MSFT:US, GOOG:US, and YHOO:US are listed. To the right of "Symbol" are additional headers that bring up types of information on the corresponding symbol.

Every user has the ability to modify the types of information that appear for a particular symbol. For example, to the right of the "Name" header, you can now see the additional header named "Market Cap".

You can add a new header by right-clicking on any header to the right of the "Symbol" header. A new menu will appear.

If you would like the new header to be added to the left of the header that you have clicked on, hover the mouse on the "Before" selection. If you would like the new header to be added to the right of the header, hover the mouse on the "After" selection.

You will find the same menu selections underneath the "Before" and "After" selections. These menu selections are different header types that you can add to your Portfolio Manager or Watchlist module.

You can close the Live Desktop Streamer without manually saving your selections. These changes are saved automatically, so the next time that you open the streamer, you will see the same configuration.
