The Total Return Performance Calculator is a tool available within Quotestream that gives the annualized return of a particular symbol in graph form and at specific intervals.
The intervals include the start and end dates of the query and every fiscal year end contained within, i.e., the period end date of each annualized report.
The lines displayed are those of the stock and a standard benchmark it compares against. In the image demonstrated above, it is the S&P/TSX composite.
The graph takes a value as the starting point of the period searched. The default is 100, and returns are calculated from that point onward.
