Clearing the Java cache will force your system to load the latest version of the streamer and can fix a wide range of known issues.
To clear your Java cache please follow the steps below.
First open the "Java Control Panel" through the Windows start menu
- Launch the Windows Start menu
- Click on Programs
- Find the Java program listing
- Click Configure Java to launch the Java Control Panel
Then select "Settings" under the "General" tab as shown below.
The "Temporary Files Settings" dialog box will then appear. Select "Delete Files" as shown below.
A pop-up will appear. Please ensure that "Trace and Log Files" and "Cached Applications and Applets" are selected and click "OK". After completing this step you will have successfully cleared your Java cache. Please reload the Live Streamer Desktop Application.
