Clearing the Java cache will result in Java loading the latest version of the streamer. It also fixes a wide range of known issues.


To clear your cache, begin by clicking on the “Apple” icon at the top-left corner of the screen.


  1. Select “System Preferences” located underneath the Apple menu.



  2. Select the “Java” icon on the System Preferences window.


  3. Click on “Settings” underneath the Temporary Internet Files.


  4. Select “Delete Files...”.


  5. Ensure that “Trace and Log Files” and “Cached Applications and Applets” is checked, and then click on “OK”.



  6. After clicking on "OK", your Java cache has been successfully cleared. Please reload the Live Streamer Desktop Application.
